Prostagutt® forte

 

for the treatment of disturbances of micturition in case of benign enlargement of the prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia stages I to II according to Alken)

Extract from Saw palmetto fruit WS® 1473 and dry extract from Urtica roots WS® 1031

Prostagutt® forte is indicated for the treatment of micturition disturbances associated with mild and moderate benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is a non-cancerous condition of the prostate and is characterised by a regional growth of the prostate that occurs in almost all older men. More than half the men in their sixties, and as many as 90 percent in their seventies and eighties, have some symptoms of BPH including frequent sudden urge to urinate, weak stream, dribbling, incomplete emptying and the need to urinate at night.

Prostagutt® forte is a combination preparation in which a special extract of saw palmetto berries is complemented by a special extract of stinging nettle roots. Prostagutt® forte significantly improves lower urinary tract symptoms of BPH such as the sudden urge to urinate or the maximum urinary flow as well as the quality of life. It is very well tolerated.

Complaints during discharge of urine due to benign enlargement of the prostate (micturition disturbances in case of benign prostatic hyperplasia, stages I to II according to Alken).
